Supplies needed:

PSP9 or any version
Gilgonga Font Here
Template 012  here
Mask of choice (previously used mask no longer available)
Eye Candy 5 Impact – Gradient Glow here
Xero – Serious Fog and Porcelain here
Stars and Stripes Scrap Kit by Monti here (click on home, then 4th of July)

Tube of choice, I used Pinup Toons, you must have a license to use and can be purchased at CDO

Disclaimer: This tutorial is written purely from my own imagination, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental. This tutorial is written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Let’s begin !

Choose 2 tubes, preferably one that stands and one that sits or kneels
Choose 2 colors from your tube
Open template 001, delete credit, resize all layers 80%
Image, canvas size 750 x 750, fill background layer with white
New layer fill with blue and apply mask, merge group, resize 120%
Duplicate layer, merge down
New layer, fill with red, apply mask, merge group, duplicate, merge down
Activate the strips layer, resize 105%, select all, float, defloat
Expand by 3, new layer, open paper MontisStarsBackground
Copy and paste as a new layer, selections invert, delete
Apply a drop shadow
Delete original strips layer
Activate the glass lens layer and colorize, I used 255 – 209
Highlight rectangle layer and select all, float, defloat
Open MontisStripesBackground paper
Copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, delete
Keep selected , copy your tube and paste as a new layer, invert, delete
Select all, float, defloat
Apply Xero – Serious Fog with these settings


Select camera body, new layer
Open StarsBackgroundBlue paper and apply as a new layer, invert, delete
Highlight frame body layer, magic wand and click inside circle, expand by 3
Copy and paste MontisStarsStripesBackground, invert, delete
Copy your tube and paste as a new layer,position and delete
Select none, apply Xero Porcelain and add a drop shadow
Go back to the glass lens layer and move it until it is above the tube
Select Dodge back 1, select all, float, defloat, fill with color choice, (I used blue from my tube), apply gradient glow
Copy your standing tube, resize 110% and paste as a new layer, invert, delete, select none
Do the same for dodge back 2, this time use red or your color choice and apply a gradient glow, paste the same tube and line it even with the previous, invert, delete
Repeat same process with dodge back 3, applying gradient glow and pasting tube, lining it with the previous
Now paste your tube as a new layer, resize 110% and line it directly over the 3 parts tube
Layers, arrange, send to top and close this layer for now
Go back to each tube layer that’s in part and apply a Gaussian blur of 5
Now choose elements from the kit and place as shown or where you desire
I placed the paper clips , one of each color on the dodge backs
The blue hanging star and ribbon, I placed on the rectangle and frame body
Activate text tool and write American Woman in your color choice
Apply eye Candy 5 – Impact – Gradient Glow 2 times , color white
Add your name, artist info and copyright.
Delete white background layer and save as a .png
You’re done !
